LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of the teaching unit, students will be able to:
- Describe global energy demand and supply,
- Report the increasing role of hydrogen within the energy transition and the relation with electrical renewable energies,
- Explain the link between Hydrogen and electricity market,
- Compare the countries in terms of maturity to implement hydrogen,
- Explore and analyze main geopolitical issues of the energy demand and supply in different areas of the world: EU / Asia / Middle East and US and describe the strategies,
- Analyze the advantages and challenges of hydrogen as an energy vector in these countries compared to electrification.
