HYDROGEN PRODUCTION 2024

Level: Advanced
Duration: 4–6 hours
Access: Seasonal free
Course will remain open until April 30th, 2024
YOU CAN STILL REGISTER.

WHY CHOOSE THIS PROGRAM

The objective of this 4-hour online course is to give you a basic understanding of the H2 market and to learn more about the mature technologies currently used to produce H2 at an industrial scale and what are the operating parameters to optimize these technologies.

We will see how to move from a high-carbon H2 to a low-carbon one, in order to limit the anthropogenic CO2 emissions in the atmosphere and limit our impact on climate change.

FOR WHO

Engineering student or a young professional interested in hydrogen in the industry sector.
It can also be of interest for professionals of the sector looking to get a deeper and fresh understanding of these technologies.

OBJECTIVES

Our focus is mostly technical and aims at three objectives. At the end of this module, you will be able to:

  • describe the working principle of the main technologies of production: SMR (with and without CCUS), Gasification, Electrolysis
  • explain the production process, the operating parameters and equipment for each technology.
  • compare solutions and identify the main development constraints to optimize maturity, cost and environment protection.
