LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Master the main thermodynamics concepts encountered in industrial processes dealing with fluids and know in which case and how they can be simulated.
- Provide students with a better understanding of the supervision and optimized operation of industrial distillation units.
- Know the essential parameters and profiles to analyze qualitatively the operation of a continuous distillation column.
- Analyze the operating conditions for industrial columns, be able to detect problems in process runs, optimize the process control.
