Learning Objectives
  • Describe the main types of seismic attributes available in a seismic interpretation workstation,
  • Use interpretation tools and techniques available (3D visualization, volume rendering, geobody extraction…) and select the attributes which can be used to improve the structural and stratigraphic interpretation results (faults, fractured zones, unconformities, reefs, channels, DHI, etc.),
  • Extract seismically-derived geological information using (geo)statistical techniques to better characterize spatial variations (depositional environments, fracturation intensity, etc.).
