Learning Objectives
  • use a software to visualize and manipulate the seismic cubes on a workstation, 
  • interpret seismic lines with horizon/fault picking on paper seismic sections, 
  • generate subsurface geological maps with manual and automatic contouring, 
  • perform the well to seismic calibration for wavelet estimation, 
  • construct the velocity model from well logs and perform time-depth conversion of interpretation results, 
  • interpret a full 3D seismic survey using the Petrel industrial software going through the interpretation workflow, and using seismic structural attributes, 
  • synthesize the final interpretation result.
